Graphic Novel Reading Club

 

Just before Christmas we finished our Graphic Novel Reading Club. This year's choice was Dracula by Bram Stoker, illustrated by José Ruiz and translated by Susan Schuler. We gathered in the school library to comment on the drawings, enjoy the plot and acting it out while paying attention to intonation and pronunciation. Jonathan, Mina, Count Dracula, Lucy and Doctor Van Helsing accompanied us from Transylvania to London and back along this thrilling vampire story.
